Will McLoughlin

Will is a designer and educator specializing in architectural interiors. His design studio, William, was founded in 2015 and is rooted in the belief that collaboration and partnerships with designers, makers, and fabricators produce projects of exceptional beauty and experience, executed with informed attention to technical rigor, and completed within sensible timelines.

His experience includes managing and designing private residential, hospitality, and institutional projects from concept to completion at the firms of Leslie Gill Architect, Workstead, and FXFowle Architects.

Past partnerships have included the design of the retail stand for Hot Bread Almacen in East Harlem, New York, and a submission receiving honorable mention to the New York City AIDS Memorial International Design Competition.

Will is a visiting lecturer at Pratt Institute, a lecturer at Parsons The New School for Design, and has served as a critic at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). He serves on the Executive Committee of the RISD Alumni Council, the governing body for the RISD Alumni Association. He is a recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Medal by the National Professional Fraternity for Architecture and the Allied Arts in recognition of his leadership, service, and promise for professional merit. Will holds Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from RISD.
